TRAIL DESCRIPTION
Valcigolera is a lateral valley extended north-west from Alpe Tognola towards the nearby “Cime del Lagorai”. This route is part of the Peace Trail, a path that unwinds for 604 km from Stelvio Pass to Marmolada. It connects places and locations along the ideal line of the Italian-Austrian front of the First World War, across glaciers peaks and alpine valleys.
Along the way there is a special signposting depicting a dove, symbol of the Path of Peace.
Along the Valcigolera route it will be possible to enjoy spectacular panoramic points from which to admire the majestic peaks of the surrounding Dolomite Groups.
FOOD AND DRINKS ALONG THE TRAIL
This trekking trail starts from Rifugio Tognola, where you will be able to stay and try local typical food with high quality and zero-miles ingredients, and from Malghetta Tognola and Malga Valcigolera where you may have sandwiches and light local dishes.

Alpe Tognola Booking and Infopoint Office is dedicated to bookings and information and is located in the station above Tognola Cable car, in front of the Ticket office.
